We’re Older Than Dirt
It may be considered impolite to talk about age, but we are proud to say we have been a family-run, Calgary-based business since 1946. Our story begins with Great-uncle Arn Cummins. While serving with the Air Force during WWII, Arn began planning for his family’s future. In 1943, he purchased a plot of land for $450 in northwest Calgary. When he was discharged in April 1946, he set to work building the business that would support generations to come.
On September 4, The Bike Shop opened its doors.
