What to Know Before Buying the EU3200i

It uses a recoil starter

The EU3200i uses a manual recoil starter rather than an electric starting system. Customers who specifically want key or push-button starting should consider the EU3000iS.

It does not supply 240-volt power

The EU3200i produces 120-volt power. It cannot directly run 240-volt well pumps, central air conditioners, electric ranges, clothes dryers, or similar equipment.

Air-conditioner compatibility should be checked

The EU3200i is well suited to many RV air-conditioning applications, but not every air conditioner has the same startup requirements. A compatible soft-start system may improve performance, particularly during hot weather or at higher elevations.

Runtime depends on the connected load

The longer runtime figure is measured at 25 percent of continuous output. Running an air conditioner, microwave, or other heavy load for extended periods will reduce runtime per tank.

Fuel condition affects reliability

Portable generators often sit unused for long periods. Aging or untreated gasoline can cause hard starting, carburetor deposits, and poor operation.
