What Is the Honda WX15TCX Designed to Pump?
The WX15TCX is a clean-water transfer pump.
It is designed for water that may contain minor incidental particles but is generally free from significant mud, gravel, stones, leaves, sticks, and other debris. The supplied or compatible suction strainer should always be used to prevent oversized material from entering the pump.

Honda GXH50 Four-Stroke Engine
The WX15TCX is powered by a Honda GXH50, a compact 49 cc, overhead-valve, single-cylinder four-stroke engine. It uses a recoil starter and a 1.2-litre fuel tank.
Because it is a four-stroke engine, gasoline and engine oil are kept separate. The operator does not mix two-cycle oil into the fuel.

The WX15TCX uses a self-priming centrifugal pump with an aluminum pump body and impeller. Honda lists a direct-coupled drive with a mechanical seal.
“Self-priming” does not mean the pump can be started dry.
Before starting, the pump housing must be filled with clean water through the priming port. The suction hose must also be airtight and fitted with a suitable strainer and check arrangement.
Once the housing has been filled and the system is properly assembled, the pump can evacuate air from the suction line and begin drawing water from below the pump.
Running the pump dry can overheat and damage the mechanical seal.

It is not a firefighting pump

Four-stroke engine oil is required
The GXH50 uses separate engine oil. Do not mix two-cycle oil into the gasoline.
