We recommend the STIHL BR 800 X to professionals who regularly clear large properties, heavy fall debris, wet leaves, parking lots, municipal spaces, and other demanding sites where the BR 600 or BR 700 may require more time and repeated passes.

This is not usually the blower we recommend for routine mowing cleanup on small residential routes. Its power is best used where the operator can take advantage of the additional air movement and spend less time breaking apart deep or compacted debris.

The BR 800 X is also the better BR 800 choice when the operator is comfortable removing the blower to restart it. Customers who want to stop and restart the engine without taking the backpack off should consider the BR 800 C-E instead.

For noise-sensitive sites, including schools, hospitals, condominiums, retirement communities, and early-morning urban routes, the BRA 500 or BRA 600 may be more appropriate.

Because the engine does not use a separate oil sump, it remains more compact and requires fewer oil-circuit components than a conventional four-stroke engine. STIHL also highlights the design for strong torque, fuel efficiency, and a more controlled exhaust note.

The BR 800 X must be fuelled with the correct gasoline and two-cycle oil mixture. Straight gasoline should never be used.

Built for Heavy Commercial Cleanup

The BR 800 X is most valuable when blower output directly affects labour time.

A crew using a lower-output blower may be able to complete the same property, but it may require more passes, smaller piles, or more manual repositioning of wet and compacted debris. The BR 800 X gives professional operators the force needed to move larger volumes more decisively.
