The Walker Perfaerator™ gives landscape contractors an excellent tool to keep lawns beautiful in a productive and easy-to-use solution. Recurring lawn aeration is a great way to keep a lawn healthy and robust, and using the Walker Perfaerator™ allows the most discerning operators to accomplish plug-style core aeration with speed and precision. This high production Walker add-on uses a rotating crank and tine assembly which is 42 inches wide with 12 aeration rows. The robust frame and driveline, coupled with convenient serviceability, provide impressive durability and longevity.

Ease of use is improved with more ground clearance when tines are retracted to eliminate trailer ramp and curb snags when backing up, and speed control for optimum aeration is accomplished with an easy and precise speed indicator. A retractable jack wheel supports the back of the unit when installing or removing the Perfaerator™ from the Walker tractor. The Perfaerator™ attaches to the front of Models C, T, D, B and H (with Model H specific bolt on footrests), and can aerate up to 60,000 square feet per hour.

What is the Walker Perfaerator?
The Walker Perfaerator is a front-mounted core aerator attachment designed for compatible Walker tractors.

Who is the Walker Perfaerator best suited for?
It is designed for landscape contractors, grounds crews and professional turf-care operators who need fast, consistent lawn aeration.

What type of aeration does the Walker Perfaerator provide?
It performs plug-style core aeration by removing small soil cores from the turf.

Why is core aeration beneficial for lawns?
Core aeration helps reduce soil compaction and improves the movement of air, water and nutrients into the root zone.

How wide is the Walker Perfaerator?
It has a 42-inch working width.

How many aeration rows does it have?
It uses 12 rows of aeration tines.

How does the Walker Perfaerator operate?
A rotating crank and tine assembly repeatedly drives the tines into the soil as the Walker tractor moves forward.

How much area can the Walker Perfaerator aerate?
It can aerate up to approximately 60,000 square feet per hour under suitable operating conditions.

Will actual productivity vary?
Yes. Productivity depends on soil conditions, travel speed, property layout, turning requirements and operator technique.

Which Walker models are compatible with the Perfaerator?
It attaches to Walker Models C, T, D, B and H.

Does the Walker Model H require additional hardware?
Yes. Model H tractors require model-specific bolt-on footrests.

Where does the Walker Perfaerator attach?
It mounts to the front of a compatible Walker tractor.

Is the Walker Perfaerator easy to install and remove?
Yes. A retractable jack wheel supports the attachment during installation and removal.

What is the retractable jack wheel used for?
It helps support and position the rear of the Perfaerator while connecting it to or removing it from the tractor.

Can the aeration tines be retracted?
Yes. The tines retract to provide additional ground clearance during transport and positioning.

Why is increased ground clearance useful?
It helps prevent the tines from catching on trailer ramps, curbs and other obstacles while backing up.

Does the Walker Perfaerator have a speed indicator?
Yes. A precise speed indicator helps the operator maintain an effective travel speed for consistent aeration.

Why is ground speed important during aeration?
Proper travel speed helps maintain consistent plug spacing and overall aeration quality.

Can aeration density be adjusted?
The operator can influence aeration density by adjusting the Walker tractor’s travel speed.

Is the Walker Perfaerator suitable for commercial use?
Yes. Its 42-inch working width, high production rate and durable driveline make it well suited to professional operations.

Can the Walker Perfaerator be used on residential lawns?
Yes. It can be used on residential properties where access, turning space and soil conditions are suitable.

Can it be used on large commercial properties?
Yes. Its productivity makes it a strong choice for campuses, parks, estates and other large maintained turf areas.

Can the Walker Perfaerator be used on compacted soil?
Yes. It is designed to remove soil cores and relieve compaction, although very dry or extremely hard ground may reduce penetration.

When is the best time to use the Walker Perfaerator?
Aeration is most effective when the grass is actively growing and the soil is moist but not saturated.

Can it be used on very dry soil?
Very dry soil may reduce tine penetration. Light watering before aeration may improve results.

Can it be used on wet soil?
Saturated turf should be avoided because it can cause rutting, surface damage and poor-quality plugs.

Should underground hazards be marked before aerating?
Yes. Irrigation heads, shallow utility lines, landscape lighting and other hidden obstacles should be identified before operation.

How durable is the Walker Perfaerator?
It features a robust frame and driveline designed for repeated professional use.

Is the Walker Perfaerator easy to service?
Yes. It is built with convenient service access to support routine maintenance and long-term operation.

What maintenance does the Walker Perfaerator require?
Routine care may include inspecting the tines, lubricating service points, checking the driveline and hardware, and cleaning away soil and debris.

Should damaged aeration tines be replaced?
Yes. Bent, worn or damaged tines should be replaced to maintain proper penetration and consistent aeration results.

What are the main benefits of the Walker Perfaerator?
Its main benefits include a 42-inch working width, 12 aeration rows, high productivity, retractable tines, easy mounting and compatibility with multiple Walker tractor models.
